I applied through university. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Macy's
Interview
A day long interview in NYC. It was a mixed day of group interviews as well as a project and one on one conversations. Hard to prepare but it sets you up well to figure out if retail is for you. A very diverse group of applicants which leads me to believe that it is important to be yourself because there is not a one thing that they are looking for
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
