FIlled out application and personality test online with resume attached, got called in for a 1:1 interview with department store manager. Asked general sales questions as many has listed here. I was prepared and did well. They made me aware of there flexi schedule, they they were looking for someone who would likely work different department, and that you had meet their, rminimum requirements of selling their reward credit cards. Manager said I will hear back from her the next day, but never heard anything.

I worked at Macy's in the late 2010s. The cosmetics manager asked me several questions. A few questions were difficult, like asking about what I would do if I saw a coworker stealing, but most were straightforward. She was also very respectful and supportive since I was unsure how to answer a few of the questions. They know that you need time to learn. Overall, it was a great experience for a beginner applicant.
