I applied online for this position via my school's career website. I was contacted shortly after by a Macy's College Relations Manager. She informed me that she was interesting in speaking with me in further detail about my experiences and extended me an offer for a phone interview. I scheduled it shortly thereafter and she was somewhat tardy in calling me on the day of the interview. We spoke for about 30 minutes in a typical interview-style format. Many of the questions she asked me are ones that you would expect in any interview. We concluded the conversation and she informed me that she would be getting in touch with me. She quickly called me back the next day or so and invited me to meet with her in person at the Macy's offices downtown. The one-on-one interview was very similar to the phone interview. This gave me a chance to ask more in depth questions. While on site, I was given a Miller Analogies test at the conclusion of the interview. I was told that I should hear back from them shortly. I was excited to hear back from them promptly. At this point, they extended an additional invitation for an on-site group interview. This was a very intensive process. It was an all day event with other candidates. During this time, I met with at least 5 managers for a one-on-one interview. There was also a presentation which required us to solve a business problem by working in teams. I was contacted shortly thereafter and was given an offer of employment.
