The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macy's (New York, NY) in Dec 2010
Interview
After applying through my school's on-campus recruiting process and going through 2 on-campus interviews, I was offered a second round. Macy's booked all the travel arrangements, hotels, meals, and reimbursed for all taxi fares. At the on-site interview, there was a very busy 2-day interview process planned for the candidates. While everyone was extremely friendly and eager to answer questions, it was a stressful process because of the very tightly packed schedule and always having to be 100% on the ball at all times. There were 2 more interviews, along with a math test, and a group case presentation.
The interview process was lengthy but very conversational. I think there were 3-5 rounds. There was also a technical interview for your specific function that you took online in a closed browser.
It was easy. Just be yourself and don’t overthink it. First was a 15 min screening call over the phone. Then a 45 min zoom call with another individual. Questions related to past experience and how you deal with certain situations.
There were 3 rounds. The first is just an hr screening. You then have to take 2 exams for the second round. After the exams there is one final round. The process was very straightforward.
