I applied online. I interviewed at Mastercard in Jan 2020
Interview
I applied online, phone screening, asked me to write a program at home (took 1 hour)., then scheduled a first interview.
Waited 1 hour in their Vancouver office before I was told they messed up with their agenda and they are sorry but they'll reschedule a new interview.
Got a second interview, behavioral questions, a technical question picked up from the hard questions of "cracking the interview". They asked me to resolve is with O(1) complexity. The optimal algo from "cracking" makes it in O(m). I am still not sure what they were expecting from me.
Another weird moment after the technical test, I asked if we were done with the whiteboard and if I could sit down. I was answered that I could pursue the interview standing up if I felt comfortable this way(?). Well I sat down...
I followed up : thanks, I am interested blah blah blah. Never got any news form them, neither rejection or anything...
