The interview process was incredibly rigorous and demanding. I studied more for my interviews at McKinsey than I did for any class during the MBA experience. However, the processes and criteria were also highly structured with clear expectations; you had a pretty good idea about your qualifications and skill levels going in to the interviews. My three interviews took place in-person in a 'super-day' formal. Each interview included a 10 minute behavioral interview and a 20 minute case interview portion. Candidates should really weight the two portions equally. The ability to deliver compelling behavioral stories is what really sets candidates apart as nearly everyone who makes to the interview stage will do well on the case interview questions.

On campus, met with three different partners/associate partners. Behavioral question followed with case. Behavioral interview they were fishing for something very specific in the story and more often than not I didn't even get to the end of what I prepared. Case was much shorter than Case Book examples. They take your scrap work so make sure it's clean. 1)Framework (MECE is very important to them) 2)Insights from Graph (Important to hit 3rd level insights) 3) Math Calculation (Math wasn't complicated but had many coponents, organization is key)
