I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Media Distillery (Amsterdam) in Feb 2023
Interview
The first interview is with a recruiter and the second one was with someone from the company, both behavioural and trying to assess how would you behave in a startup/highly paced environment. The third one was a technical interview to assess your skills. Here I think the assessment method could've been different, as they ask mainly about low-level concepts and are not that much interested in how you solved business problems with technology. Furthermore they don't provide you with a clear overview on how this technical interview is going to be, so you come to the session almost clueless as to what expect.

I applied online. I interviewed at Media Distillery
Interview
First a phone screen, followed by a culture check with HR and a fellow ML engineer, then a technical interview, and finally an interview with the CEO and CTO. My recruiter was super helpful and friendly throughout the process, and even though I didn't get the position, he offered to help me with future applications. Overall, I didn't feel like I wasted my time at all and learned a lot about the hiring process, the company and what it means to be an ML engineer.
