I had an interview with the owner, they seemed fairly pleasant. I felt rushed at the beginning when they'd said "listen I really don't have much time so let's make this quick." The owner talked a lot, I barely had to say anything and was offered some gigs within 20 minutes which came as a red flag to me. I'd asked if we were still okay for time (25 minutes later) and the reply was "oh we are fine, I just say that in case the interview is going badly or I don't like the person." The owner admitted that he had numerous current employees that could be in a senior role but were in junior positions because they had to "earn their keep". There were a lot of key indicators that growth didn't happen too quickly at this organization. There were plenty more red flags like this. It wasn't the place for me.
