HR did not appear to be involved in recruiting, and was only brought in for the on-site interview. This meant certain questions about salary ranges, team positioning, etc. could not be asked as easily. And the in-person interviewing experience was horrible. Left in rooms alone, hiring manager late for meetings and overly stressed, bounced around to on-site HR who knew nothing about the job complexities...One interviewer on site didn't care to come into the office, and was totally un-prepared for the interview. The hiring manager's manager interviewed by being overly domineering and trying to ask questions that would put you on the hot seat, to test you. No one seemed to talk to the hiring manager in the halls, as if they didn't like them. The manager also had no tolerance for opinions other than their own. After the last interview, the manager rudely skipped out with a very dismissive goodbye.
