I had a phone interview with a talent assessor that had been hired by the company specifically to handle interviews. She was very pleasant to talk to and the interview was less than 15 minutes. I received an email from her the following month saying that they decided to go with someone else.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
She asked the usual questions: my experience and what I did at previous jobs, things I would like to work on (weaknesses), salary range that I was looking for and my level of MS Office knowledge.
5 interviews and then ghosted! I emailed and called the HR rep no response. 2 weeks later another HR rep reached out to me with the same job ID and description.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MetLife (New York, NY) in Jan 2024
Interview
Applied on a job board and was contacted via email shortly after for a Zoom screening. I was very disappointed in that I dressed up expecting a video call only for the HR associate to not want to video chat. I feel they did not ask too many in depth questions about my background and essentially knit picked at my background and what I was lacking. It's as if they already knew I was not going to be hired but interviewed me anyways. For me it was a waste of time and showed their lack of professionalism.

Interview
It was a great interview, and the interviewers were polite, informative and explained the role in detail. I don't have any complaints about the interview process. It was a virtual interview; and a multi-step process.
