MetaPhase Consulting interview questions

The interview process entails three steps. The first step is the pre screening. The second step was a 30 minute interview with the team and a writing exercise due within two business days. The third step is with director. Overall, the process is clear and not too daunting.

Spoke with a recruiter over the phone for an initial screening. Following the conversation, I received a request for a writing sample (question provided) and an invitation for a second-round interview with two employees. For the writing sample, I was given 48 hours to turn around a one-page memo on a complex topic. I was given no advance notice of the time associated with the assignment. I was working full-time and in school part-time so it was tough to find time but I completed it. Following my submission of the writing assignment and completion of the second interview, I never heard back from MetaPhase Consulting. After two weeks, I decided to reach back out. Roughly a week after that I received a call from a different recruiter at 4:50PM who was calling to explain that based on company policy, I should have received an email from the initial recruiter explaining why I was not selected to move on. Overall, I felt disrespected and like my time was wasted with MetaPhase Consulting.
