Metergram interview questions

The interview process lasted around three weeks from start to finish. The first interview was with HR talking about previous projects, teamwork and hobbies. Then the technical interview followed, in which the only theory based questions were about OOP concepts, while the practical questions included finishing an ER diagram, 2 SQL queries and one to four LeetCode type questions depending on the candidate. I am a very good student with a great amount of good projects for my level of study and answered correctly to every question I got, yet I still didn't get an offer. This is because the company has a hiring practice that is a mix of first come first served and whether you are a girl or not, i.e. the rumors about them giving strong preference to girls came true. That is because I know girls who aren't as complete candidates that were interviewed after me and got an offer. Also, they were accepting male candidates even before I was interviewed and when I asked for an update for my candidacy they lied to me that they needed to finish interviewing all the candidates in order to give me an answer. At the end they send a generic mail to everyone stating that they were one of the top candidates, but that they've decided to hire someone else.
