On 10/29/24, I applied for a Social Media Manager role at Mithrl Inc. During a call with the CEO, he asked NO questions about the job but instead asked questions about Halloween costumes and invited me to a Halloween party. The CEO did not clarify that the party was part of the interview process nor that other women interviewing would be at the interview. I couldn’t attend due to COVID, and when I asked to reschedule a formal interview, he stated they’d met someone at the party whom the team liked, which was confusing since I didn’t know the party was part of hiring. This process felt like harassment and discrimination, as I was excluded for not attending due to illness. Other candidates had similar experiences, with the CEO making uncomfortable comments and encouraging engagement with the CO-CEO. The party location was asked to be kept secretive, with entry through an alley, raising safety concerns. The only men present were employees, while female candidates felt blindsided. This experience felt unsafe, discriminatory, and inappropriate.

WARNNING!!!! Very sketchy!!!! I was approached directly on LinkedIn minutes after submitting my application, by the CEO Vivek Adarsh. The interview was very short and by the end, he casually invited me to their company Halloween party. I tried to ask if another day would be possible and he said something like stay tuned. I thought it was weird but I went to the party anyway, At the party were a few men from the company and 10 or more only young women who all applied for roles and were invited to this event. It felt very odd and inappropriate. Other girls said Vivke used similar wording during the interview such as "You are saying all the right things", and were all casually invited to this party. During the party, I was introduced kind of aggressively to the other CEO.
