I applied online. I interviewed at Morgan / Harbour Construction (Willowbrook, IL) in Dec 2017
Interview
Beautiful building. Parked close to the entrance. Very nice looking boardroom with a lot of high tech communications equipment. The receptionist was extremely friendly and offered me coffee. The interview lasted around an hour. I thought it was very productive and informative. I met with two of the partners and they both seemed very friendly, asked really good questions, and excited about the role. I was really impressed that such high up people would take the time to meet with me and that they knew the ins and outs so well, unlike the higher ups that I've worked with at other companies that do not have a clue as to what the people at the bottom have going on. I was extremely impressed to find out that they offer HSA and FSA benefits, in addition to pay 100% health insurance coverage for their employees. Had the commute been more realistic for me, I would have taken the job in a heartbeat, but I ended up not relocating and therefore ended up not switching companies. I would highly recommend this to a friend or family member though!

I applied online. I interviewed at Morgan / Harbour Construction (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Arrived at their office and they did not know whom I was to meet with. Once they figured that out I met with 2 managers. It was a strange interview. Normally they boast and talk up the company. Not in this case. They described the rigors of putting together a bid and how they project it on a big screen on bid day so the big boss's can come in criticize what you've done. Such a bleak picture, I couldn't wait to get out of there. Very bizarre!!
