I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Morgan-Williams International (Mississauga, ON) in Mar 2026
Interview
It started with an inmail from Robert Half who were facilitating the whole process for Morgan Williams International. Did a screening round with them discussing my suitability for the buyer role along with salary expectations and eventually did a manager round with Morgan Williams. The interview went a bit over time but I thought it was smooth overall. I answered all questions satisfactorily and even recommended some process improvements within the company. Got a call from Robert Half after 3 hours saying "they thought I would be bored in the role".

The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Morgan-Williams International (Mississauga, ON) in May 2023
Interview
The hiring manager reached out to me on LinkedIn after I applied to the position, saying that she was impressed with my resume. She sent over a link where I could schedule the interview, and I did schedule it. On the day of the interview, in the morning, I got an email saying that the schedule was cancelled but no reason was given. I reached out to the hiring manager through LinkedIn and email and heard no response back. I gave the benefit of the doubt, maybe something happened. I decided to re-book the meeting to 4 days later. This time the meeting didn't get cancelled but she never showed up to the interview. No replies to my messages either. I got completely ghosted after she reached out to me. I also noticed that she was active on LinkedIn so nothing has happened, she just decided to deliberately ignore my messages. Extremely unprofessional. It also speaks volume to the type of company and "leadership" this is. Be warned.
