A member of the company's Video Production Team reached out to me when they posted a job because they had my info on file and liked my work. I came in and sat down for a 2 hour interview. I was told a decision would be made in 2 weeks. The person interviewing me really liked my work but wanted to see a sample that was similar to their style, marketing a product. He even gave me a product from their studio and asked me to put something together to improve my chances. After I did this extra suggested assignment and submitted it within 1 week, matching the style of the companies work, I received no acknowledgment. When I checked back in to see if I was still a candidate, I got no response back. They may have gone with someone more qualified or who was a better fit, but I am greatly disappointed with the lack of professionalism and courtesy after I spent 2 hour and an extra time to show my interest in the position.
