I declined right off the bat in the middle the first phone interview. I was interviewed by a Software Development Manager, who has a QA background (he's never been a developer). During the interview I asked about their software engineering processes (Do you use Agile? TDD? BDD?) and he confessed that NetScout does not write any unit tests for their code, but "we acknowledge that is important and we are planning to start writing unit tests at some point in the future". Nice enough guy. I'm only rating as negative because I think that a company that doesn't have any automated tests, not even unit tests, is just a dead-end for any decent self-respecting professional software developer.
