I applied in-person. I interviewed at NIH (Istanbul) in Jan 2016
Interview
I didn't get a proper interview as I was recommended by my previous boss. So I met my next boss during an international congres. We discuss about my current scientific projects, which ones I could continue to work on and new ones.
The interview process was overall fairly easy. The interviewers were friendly and the conversations were tailored to research interests, goals and experience. The process began as a panel interview followed by one on one interview.
The HR interviewed me and asked questions one by one. One day, one person. A total of 8 HR interviewed me, and each person talked for one hour with me, so I spent 8 hours.
