      Frontend Software Engineer Interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Dec 2020

      Interview

Got contacted by HR a few weeks after applying online. 1st round: deep technical discussions with senior engineer on JavaScript concepts (closures, bind, floating point pitfalls when doing math with JS), my projects. 2nd round: coding phone screen with an engineer with multiple parts (flattening array and a few others), first part was set of JavaScript problems and second part HTML/JS/CSS. virtual onsite: each next round was based on the previous one, initial stage HTML/CSS/JS, then pure JS DOM implementation on the existing implementation, behavioral (pretty tough questions), and then React coding challenge. Received offer the same day in less than an hour after the virtual onsite ended. The HR and the team were super nice and efficient. I had onsites with many great companies at that time but this was one of my top favorites.
