Confusing. There was no structure. I applied and was asked to interview for several DevOps engineer positions at NVIDIA, none of which were straightforward or concise. Summary: Typically 4 rounds, Interview with director, manager, then team lead, followed by coding leet code style questions. This may be drastically different for you, however. I had another DevOps role in NVIDIA and I had leetcode questions right off the bat. Asked the recruiter for assistance and they provided no insight on who I would be interviewing or how technical the interview was going to be. The leetcode at the end was a huge surprise and in DevOps typically leetcode is rare because of the nature of the work we do. I was shocked to be asked some medium questions and one hard (4 total) during the FINAL round. This confused me and caught me off guard because most companies do leetcode first in the process.They really have no clue how to interview software candidates for DevOps and it clearly shows. Overall, I would not recommend this as the process took upwards of 2 months for one position, wasting time waiting a week or more for the recruiter to "hear back from the team" to move on to the next step. The time I wasted interviewing and preparing was immense and my disappointment in how the process was handled makes me incredibly weary considering joining the company again.
