I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at NVIDIA in Dec 2022
Interview
(1) After initial discussions with the recruiter, the first interview is a screening interview with a team member. (2) Second is another screening interview with the Hiring Manager. (3) The third and final step is a full-day of back-to-back interviews with team members from engineers to PMs to VPs.
Like many employers, the company likes to say they have a great working environment and that they're looking for people who think out of the box. Discussions with interviewers and personal internal contacts tell me neither are true. They want typical get-in-line and stay-in-your-box employees who will work 12-14 hours per day, including weekends. The hiring manager does not have final word on providing an offer. Higher-level managers can overrule and deny an offer to anyone they do not like or did not like an answer from. Overall, the interview process and questions were easy and not out of the ordinary.
