I applied for the position when I learned about it. I interviewed with the site manager, but didn't get hired right away. About a month later, I was contacted by the company and told to complete my application and the background check form. I was called by my manager, who was the subcontractor agency, while I was on vacation. I did my interview while I was shopping!! It was a call out of the blue. I started the Monday after my return. The site manager didn't even know that I had my badge already. Lots of miscommunication going on there.
