Had to answer a few questions up front that took quite a bit of time for a standard application - no problem though.
Had a first call with the hiring manager. Thought it went pretty well - I'm well qualified and answered all the questions concisely and we had a great conversation.
Then crickets after. Ghosted. No response and it's been over a month. I take it more of a sign of internal issues at the company at this point....a red flag in itself.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
typical sales interview questions
One thing I'll say is the company seems very junior/early in their sales process from questions I was asked and questions I asked the interviewer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Neato (Las Vegas, NV)
Interview
Met with the founder and was passed to the ceo who gave the impression of being a micromanaging self important dbag. The interviews went well, but these myopic self important types didn’t have the courtesy to follow up or provide feedback after I invested time in preparing to meet with them, which was not a total waste of time because I learned that these guys are hacks and will be out of business in short order. These guys, especially the ceo are not even C level players. They lack any type of character or charisma to be worthy of running a company where their employees depend on them for a livelihood.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Neato in Mar 2024
Interview
The recruiter didn't have enough common decency to turn on her camera. That along with the questions asked, flow, and her lack of energy from beginning to end made it clear that this was a waste of time. After it was over, I meant to send a follow-up email that I was no longer interested, but over the following week got the rejection email anyway so it all worked out. You usually want to put your best face forward when interviewing anyone getting to know your company, Neato didn't with this recruiter.
