I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Next Sourcing (Hong Kong)
Interview
I had a brief phone call with HR followed by more in-depth Skype interview with manager a week or so later. The Skype interview was enjoyable, the manager relaxed and extremely pleasant, and all questions asked were relevant and not too fluffy. Even though the initial process was positive, I’d say the overall experience was ruined by the unprofessional communication following the interview. I was told that I would receive a response in 2 weeks - I didn’t. When I chased up 4 weeks later, I was told a decision hadn’t been made, and I’d be contacted within a week - I wasn’t. After a further 3 weeks I contacted them again, and was told they’d gone in another direction. Obviously that’s absolutely fine, but I think this rather discourteous and sloppy communication towards a professional candidate (who took time out of work to interview) left me with a fairly negative outlook on the company, and would certainly affect my decision to apply again, or recommend it to someone else - this is certainly the poorest communication I’ve experienced from a prospective employer.
