I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Nomic Bio in Dec 2024
Interview
The interview process was great, take-home was challenging and interesting, and well reflected the apps and job requirements for the role. The paired programming requirement was engaging and fun. I applied and was given an offer within a few weeks, and the interviewers were contentious and accommodating of my timeline for competing offer. I ultimately accepted the offer and have started work and am enjoying the new challenges!
I would not recommend interviewing here. I had an unfortunate experience. First, the CTO reached out to me and we scheduled a zoom call. On the call we discussed my experience and a little about nomic. He said he thought I'd be a great fit for the role and gave me a whole timeline for different interviews. All I'd have to do is complete a take-home project first; building a full stack web-app. I completed the take home project and submitted it. But oh no, I got no response. I followed up a week later, and another two weeks after that. Ghosted, no feedback whatsoever. Terrible business practice to ghost candidates after they take the time to complete and submit a whole project. They could be trying to get candidates to do work for free by sending out these take-home projects and then ghosting once it is turned in. I would not recommend interviewing here.
