I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Nordstrom (Saint Louis, MO) in Nov 2011
Interview
I applied and had my phone interview for Handbags, but by the end of the interview she said that their real need was in the jewelry department. So she submitted my information to the jewelry manager. The first interview was only about 15-20 minutes. She asked things like "Why Nordstrom?", "What was your most difficult selling experience?", and "What qualities do think are important for a job like this?". I prepared for the interview but I had only prepared answers for one of the questions she asked. But despite that, the preparation I did do was helpful. I'm still in the final stages, and waiting to schedule my first day of training.
