Premilinary interview done with Human Resources manager to see if potential applicant is the right fit. A second interview is done with the department manager.

I was contacted over the weekend and missed their call. The employer didn't even bother to leave a voicemail and had even changed my application status to no longer being considered. A very bias, unfair, and passive aggressive decision on their part. Scheduled an interview with employer anyways. I hate the hiring manager idea to check in at the registers when the registers were not made for that. Waited in the long line with customers and customers were staring down at me--prematurely judging me. A Black customer lady kept looking at me like it was her business that I was in line and it made it felt like she was bullying me. Finally, some waiting hiring manager was not in one of those green uniforms--she had wore what she felt like that day. Asked a list of questions from paper regarding leadership skills, working on a team, and projects. They claim they are flexible but they are not--you have to find ways to take days off. A easy job overall with overrated interview questions, and I would work there if they don't bully me with the overnight schedule.

I applied online at nordstromrack.com. I then got a phone call for an in-person interview. In the in person interview I interviewed with the manager of my department. I then waited two weeks to hear back and got hired and we set a date for my first day.

Interview
Applied online for a new store opening, two days later I receive a call and email for an interview the next day. Interview took place in a conference room at a local hotel (since the store technically isn't finished yet) Store manager introduces himself to me and the few other workers there. He talks about the store and then shows us a video about the store. Meet two other managers and then they both go to two tables in the back of the room and we each go up to do two interviews with them (in order of what time the workers arrived at)
They said to allow two hours for the interview proces and me being the 2nd person to arrive, from arriving and leaving took 50 minutes.
I thought I struggled with the questions, taking too long to answer them, but I was contacted in two-three days to add on my background information, and in two days I was offered a position and invited to orientation for the next week!

Why do you want this job and what position are you interested in?
Manager showed me some papers talking about the tasks of working in a certain position and basically asked, "Are you interested in performing these tasks with or without accommodation?"
