I found this job posting online and sent my resume over email. Was immediately invited for an interview, then I had to remind them to specify the date/time after a few days of radio silence. At the interview, I was approached by the "FOH/Events Manager" that I knew had experience managing a winery but had been working with liquor for less than a year. I should have expected what came next. Rather than asking any questions a bartender should know the answer to, the interviewer took a corporate approach by asking STAR-type situational "tell me about a time when..." questions. After two questions it seemed like they had heard enough. They said they would let me know if they wanted me to come in for the next step - a "paid" (untipped) 4-hour stage shift. Never heard back.
