There is a long application process. I put a long of work into the essays and making sure everything was formatted correctly. From there, I had a 20 minute phone call and I had the internship by the following week.

Potential mentors asked about specific projects mentioned in the resume. They also gave details about the potential projects one might work on. The interviewer was friendly and mindful of the student expertise~ didn't ask high-level questions.
