Interview
Ghosting experience. Total time waste. 1. The recruitment offers the worst experience to the candidates, they do not respond to your emails or messages and candidates are not even informed about the process and happenings. am sure the CTO is not interested in hiring. 2. Lengthy process with 5 rounds, they will have interviews scheduled for months and at the end say you are not the ideal fit. 3. They are experimenting with candidates as they have no idea about QA. 4. you would have to attend all the rounds, but at the end they will say position is closed or reject you. 5. same repetitive rounds. Spending this time and effort for any other opening would help you achieve your goal.

Question 1
BDD and test cases along with previous experiences. take home exercise.
They ghosted me after asking to do a product management case that took several hours to do. Not only did they not review it, nobody followed up and didn't even a rejection letter. Terrible candidate experience here since I had to make personal arrangements just to find time to complete the case.

Interview
Had 3 rounds in total, 1 with HR + senior dev, was a casual session talking about past experience and some frontend qns (as I was more front-end). 2nd round was with the CTO where he went further into the past experience and more higher level qns. 3rd round was a take-home coding trial which would be given in the morning and be completed by the end of the day (6pm). Will go through task with the team, explaining about thought processes etc. Last round would be with CEO, more of a casual session to find out more about the company's direction and goals.
Offer letter was given , but decided to spend 1 full day virtually with the wider team to understand if it would be a good culture fit. Was really helpful as managed to have 1:1 with the other colleagues to understand the entire startup culture and environment.
Overall a good experience!
