I went through multiple stages of the interview process for a role and unfortunately had a disappointing experience with the final communication.
After reaching the third stage of interviews, I was expecting a more professional follow-up or at least structured feedback. Instead, the communication felt quite informal and rushed. The call itself happened a day later than expected, and the explanation focused more on how busy things had been rather than providing clear or constructive feedback.
When candidates invest significant time preparing for several interview rounds, it’s reasonable to expect thoughtful feedback or at least a clear explanation of the decision. The overall interaction felt a bit dismissive, which was disappointing given the effort involved in reaching the later stages of the process.
Pros:
Interesting role and company
Interview stages were structured
Cons:
Poor communication at the final stage
Lack of clear or constructive feedback
Candidate experience could be handled more professionally
