2 stages - inital call with HR and 2nd stage was take-home task. Though there is some benefit to these, these also need time to do. I was given a few days, which seemed enough but when then explaining my process, it clearly wasn't. The lead recruiter clearly had an idea what the solution was (since it had already been created) and it didn't fit the current solution. There is no right solution in product design (though dark patterns to avoid). Product design is about accepting that other designer may see things differently. Take-home tasks are very outdated and burdensome. I have written this to show this information to others, who can then make a more informed choice about applying to Origin Digital.
