After applying online, I received a response within three weeks and was invited to a first-stage interview. During that initial interview, I was informed that Own was looking to move quickly as they needed to fill the position ASAP. I was assured I would be moving forward in the process. However, the communication that followed was inconsistent. It took two weeks for the recruiter to request my availability for the next stage, and future interviews took 2-3 weeks out from the availability request. This delay was unexpected, especially given the initial urgency initiay mentioned. As of now, it has been 8 weeks since the first email from the recruiter, and I have only completed the third stage of the process, with 2 remaining. To add to the frustration, I recently noticed that not only are there new job postings from the company, but the specific role I applied for has already been filled. This prolonged and disorganized process has been disheartening, and it reflects poorly on the company’s ability to manage its recruitment efforts effectively.
