      Interview Process (Description): The process was highly intensive, involving over five hours of commitment. It began with an initial face-to-face interview, followed by an hour-long session with hiring managers. The final stage was a rigorous three-hour technical assessment designed to test deep competency. Despite the significant time and "intellectual labor" invested, the final communication was a generic, system-generated automated rejection. Pros. The hiring managers were professional during the face-to-face sessions. The technical assessment was relevant and challenging, accurately reflecting the high-level skills needed for the role. Cons: Lack of Professional Reciprocity: After 5+ hours of work, receiving a generic automated response is unacceptable. There is a lack of transparency regarding assessment results. Tone-Deaf Communication: The company sent an automated "candidate experience" survey before providing any personalized feedback on the work I submitted. No Feedback for Growth: Requests for specific performance metrics were ignored, making the hours invested a total loss for professional development. Advice to Management: Reciprocal respect is essential. If you require candidates to perform hours of technical labor, you have a professional obligation to provide more than a system-generated response. Ensure your automated survey tools are timed to follow personalized feedback, not precede it.
