Phone interview by internal recruiter which was a pitch from them, then another zoom meeting filmed for the hiring manager.
Was promised to be put in front of the hiring manager, email the to get feedback twice, no response. Poor communication.

Interview
Approached 3x by recruitment through LinkedIn, was willing to interview 3rd time around as it was (seemingly) for a more senior role than previously; I made my requirements very clear before accepting to avoid wasting anyone's time.
Disappointingly after 2 in person meetings and during the 3rd over Zoom, it became quite clear that my earlier communicated requirements were either ignored or not passed on to the relevant people.
After 6ish hours in total of interviews, everything was still very vague, and it's fair to say they were more interested in validating my interest in the role than talking about what the role would entail.
The obvious reason for this is that despite some really great sounding roles that are advertised, the reality is they only seem to hire for one role - an entry level sales executive.
The commission scheme is generous, having spent a decent amount of time on the sales floor, there's a good team ethic, and to be honest I think it would be quite easy for the "elite level sales people" they are looking to recruit.
However, I feel that everyone's time was frustratingly wasted as I would have declined to interview once more if I'd have known what I came to know so far in, I definitely feel they rely on solid OTE and the psychology of sales from the recruitment side to get people in.
I pulled out halfway through the 3rd interview once it was obvious we were heading to 2 different finish lines.

If you could target an industry, what would it be and why?
process took 3 weeks - initiall call with recruiter and 3 following interviews with sales management team - first call was a typical phone call and the following 3 interviews were via zoom / skype video - very nice team but expects results immediately. Hard working team that expects results!
