I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2010
Interview
I had a phone interview, followed by an invitation to a large (80+ applicants for 4 different departments) interview day. This consisted of a night of mingling, and "speed-dating" interviews the next day. These interviews were scheduled, 15 min sessions with 2 managers/directors each. The questions were mostly fit with a few technical ones mixed in. The interviewers have lunch together afterward, so they make the decision the day of the interviews. I received a call after the weekend. The people were all very friendly, but the setting is very structured and formal.
One online screening and in person interview. The whole process was very quick. Superday was super easy, but a little tiring. Quick responses though and very helpful. I enjoyed the process as a whole
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is treasury management? (The process of what they do)
Filled with behavioral questions, they want to see that you are competent as a person. There were very few technicals, and the ones that were asked were mostly related to entry level TM.
I applied through university. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Pittsburgh, PA) in Jan 2020
Interview
Fairly simple and straightforward super day. Behavioral questions and some financial questions depending on the interviewer. Everyone was a joy to speak with and the whole process was very smooth.
