I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group in Nov 2025
Interview
HR call for 20 minutes asking basic background details and sponsorship questions. Round 1 with a team member, asking basic profile related questions nothing technical and they will explain you the role. Round 2 with the hiring manager along with their VP (could be another person on the call shadowing) asking questions related to balance sheet and your background projects, very light SQL fundamental questions as a formality. I killed both the interviews and they were very impressed, then comes the offer time and they send me a rejection email saying I was against many other highly qualified applicants. I literally have twice the experience and qualifications required by the role, two masters and 4 years of experience, but they rejected me because I needed sponsorship, they did the outright say that was the reason but nothing else makes sense. Overall, id say even if you gave the best interviews theres a high chance they will reject you.

Interview
Very lengthy process. Several rounds of interviews over a few months. The second-to-last interview involved a project and presentation. Interviews were mostly STAR method with a few technical questions. Overall a good experience.
