I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Downers Grove, IL) in Feb 2018
Interview
There was one phone interview and an in-person interview. The in-person interview was with three different people and each was 30 min long. It was very laid back and did not seem stressful. The interview process was delightful and pleasant. I did have to wait a long time before someone came down to get me but other than that it was a great process. After the interview, it took 4 weeks before I received my denial. I missed the call as it was during the day and when I called back I left a message asking for feedback. It was never received. I do not know why they chose someone else.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at PNC Financial Services Group (Philadelphia, PA) in Jan 2013
Interview
I was contacted by a PNC recruiter via LinkedIn in early November for a Senior Paralegal position within their multifamily real estate dept. Had a phone interview with her. Some time in December, I had another phone interview with another PNC recruiter that had the specifics of the position. I finally landed an in-person interview at the end of December with the Hiring Manager and one of the attorneys that I'd be working with. The interview took place in Philadelphia on Market Street. The building was amazing. They sent an admin asst down to the lobby to retrieve me. We took the elevator to, I think, the 28th floor. The attorney was located in Texas so he had to call into the interview. Typical interview, where they asked about my experience. The interview lasted about 35 minutes. No tricky questions or anything. I sent thank you emails to both interviewers. Called the recruiter a few days later to follow up and he had no update for me. Once a week in the month of February I called to follow up and by the end of February, the recruiter tells me the Hiring Manager really would like to hire me but the attorney wanted someone with more of the government loans/multifamily transaction experience. The following week, they reposted the ad for the job.

Question 1
I was surprised that the first thing they asked me about was how the local college men's basketball team did. Luckily for me, I saw the scores that morning on the news because I don't follow sports at all!
