Bad experience. Contract maternity leave cover. Applied and had a soft phone conversation where we went through my resume. I was assured by the interviewer that specific sweater experience wasn’t necessary for the role. Invited for a 1 hour in person interview, was sat waiting for 40min while multiple employees kept asking why had I not been seen yet. Skills test finally administered by another person in the department. Interviewer finally saw me but would not make eye contact, did not greet well. Whole process took about 2 hours. Was scheduled for a follow up call where it was clear the requirements for the position hadn’t been discussed internally before they started bringing people in. Very messy application approach which could have been a far better experience if they had communicated within their organization. Do better for future candidates.
