Interview
An exploitative interview experience. There were two initial interview rounds that went well (a video interview recording, then a live video interview with a group) then a two day onboarding process. At the beginning of the onboarding for which I delayed both paid work and a family trip, they announced that it wasn't actually an onboarding process for everyone there--as I had understood--but another interview. They would let us know who had actually onboarded the following week and give the rest an Amazon giftcard. Who saves that information until the last minute and expects professionals to devote two entire days to being interviewed / maybe onboarded--with explicit requests to display vulnerability during back to back groups for two days. Who trains interview applicants on their proprietary software and group protocols when they aren't even hired yet? I should have left at that point but it seemed like such a wonderful role leading up to that. When I wasn't offered a role, they were vague about the reason(s) and ignored requests for follow through on the Amazon giftcard for many days until greater action was taken by a group of who'd all had similarly negative experience. On top of that, they changed the compensation before the onboarding/last interview so it would be significantly lower than initially advertised. Again, I should have run at that point and not wasted two days during their onboarding-turned-interview process, but I had high hopes. I still think the idea behind this startup is fantastic. Unfortunately their treatment of the "world class facilitators" applying was disrespectful and resulted in a significant waste of time.

Interview
The interview process for this company was extensive and challenging, with numerous rounds of interviews that seemed to focus on operational support rather than customer care. Despite the hiring manager's assurance that the role would primarily involve CSR duties, the job title of "Operations Associate" didn't accurately reflect this focus. Meeting with the COO multiple times didn't add much value to the process, and I recommend that the company review its job descriptions and interview process to provide a more targeted and efficient experience.
