      Solutions Engineer Interview

      13 Jul 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Paddle

      Interview

Recruiter conducted initial screen. Then went dark for over a month. Hiring manager interview, then "technical screen" with no context. Spent hours preparing only to be sent a prompt while I was on the phone that required (3-5) tasks be completed. One needed to have multiple different software packages ready to complete this assessment. Give potential candidates the information and access to what they need to succeed. Don't send them a prompt while you are on the line and expect them to have; a sandbox HTML base, PostMan, and Webhook tool at the ready. Process seemed like stump the chump instead of wanting me to be successful Very clear why the organization is struggling to fill the US position.
