I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paycom in Jan 2023
Interview
First step is a call with a technical recruiter. They will basically try to convince you why Paycom is a good place to work. You should expect the "Why you want to work at X place" question. First interview is a technical interview in the language of your choice. I was expecting it to take 45-60 minutes, but it barely took over 30 minutes. The question was probably an easy LC. I heard that the last round was an HR interview. I did not follow through the whole process, so I wouldn't know what kind of questions they ask at that point.
Everything was fine. But during the tech part of the interview, I noticed the interviewer was very talkative. So I asked ahead of time if I could have 2 minutes to read and process the question before he offered any guidance. He only gave me about 20 seconds and kept interrupting my train of thought. It felt like a boss was standing over my shoulder talking the whole time. I got turned off by that. I let the time run out and ended the interview. Personally, would not apply again but others might not have the same experience.

Question 1
Question about 'what is an abstract class' and some simple SQL questions about joins. Everything was pretty basic.

It was okay. In my case, the interviewer did not seem friendly at all and was hardly interacting. Even though I explained my entire thought process, he seemed to be distracted by other things lol.
