I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pelorus (Putney, England) in Oct 2025
Interview
Very disappointed in their interview and follow-up process. Everything in the interview itself was very routine for a travel company and a role of this level, but the process afterwards was very unprofessional and un-informative. I left the interview asking what the next steps were, to which they outlined the next part of the interview process, but gave no clear date of when that would be.
To not be pushy, I waited 2-3 days and chased to see if we could set a date, I then got told they'd be in touch in 2 weeks due to "many things being juggled". There was no further response from Pelorus and I chased 1.5 weeks later before a weekend to which I got a reply from the recruiter saying I would hear back the following week. Another 5 days after that, still no follow up from Pelorus so I accepted another job offer that I had on the table.
There was no explanation as to why the process did not continue and I didn't receive any feedback from the interview. I find this unusual and unprofessional and have never had this from any company.
I understand why there can be delays to such processes, but they did not keep me adequately informed during the process and they surely appreciate people are interviewing with multiple companies and potentially have other offers to consider? I think delaying 2+ weeks with no explanation is a little risky. And if it was simply that there were better candidates, that's more than fine, but that should have been made clear and it should have been stated I was unsuccessful,
After the last chase, I got a message saying I would have fit in well so all very strange.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Pelorus in Jul 2021
Interview
Phone screening and two zoom interviews. Everyone was nice and straightforward. It did not feel impersonal or too corporate. The screening was with the HR person and the rest was with the Marketing Manager and Co-Founder.
