I recently went through the full hiring process for a role, and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. After completing multiple stages — including a case study that took me over six hours to prepare — I never had the opportunity to present my work. I had to follow up several times just to get updates on next steps, despite being in touch with multiple members of the HR team throughout the process.
In the end, I received an automated rejection email with no context, feedback, or explanation. For a final-round candidate who has invested significant time and effort, this felt careless and unprofessional. The lack of communication, transparency, and basic respect for candidates’ time is not in line with what I would expect from a company presenting itself as organised and people-centric.
I hope the company reconsiders its candidate experience, particularly around communication and feedback, as the current process reflects poorly on the organisation.
