I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Point72 (New York, NY) in Jan 2019
Interview
Initial interview was a 60 minute qualitative overview of your past experiences in school, college and what you plan to go on to do in life. Asked questions regarding your financial aptitude, drive to be in the finance sphere, and about your perception of yourself.

Question 1
Worst thing a professor has commented about your work
CV screen followed by case study, comparing two businesses and a pitch at the end, followed by HR screen. I’m on the website to find out about remaining stages, was told only two more interviews.
Three rounds: initial case study, then hr call, then coaching round, sometimes an additional coaching round. The process was really slow, and the turn around of each round takes up to two weeks.
First round was a case, then the second round was an HR screen. The third and final round is a meeting with a PM. Hard to know ahead of time what you may or not be asked.
