Interview was scheduled after closing. Arrived to the lobby full of PTAs and front desk applicants. Everyone was given a paper copy of the application to complete instead of adding this to the original job posting. After everyone finished we were instructed on the multiple portions to come which consisted of VERY simple tasks. They proceeded to call names back into the different areas. In theory this was to demonstrate how the clinic handles the large caseload and how they could smoothly move all of us through the stations. Well this did not happen...after sitting for 3 hrs [with no interview yet and 5 people still waiting] I knew that this was how the "well oiled machine" really worked. The overall process was poorly executed and an inefficient use of the rooms time.
Constructive advice- Enjoyed the idea of incorporating a practical interview but only invite 1 applicatant for each portion and then cycle.
