Since I didn’t reach you, I wanted to reach out to personally apologize for not providing better information about the sudden change in direction. That’s on me.
We continue to pursue candidates on a rolling basis until we fill a role and you were next on deck. We were excited to host you in our Seattle office, but in a quick turn of events we received an offer acceptance from a previous candidate. Ironically, out of respect for your time, we canceled your interviews rather than have you go through the motions. But I absolutely understand your frustration, especially given you had changed your personal plans to accommodate interviews with Possible.
We do our best to avoid outcomes like this. I apologize again for not providing more complete information and causing inconvenience.
