I applied through Zip Recruiter and was called almost immediately. This should have been my first red-flag. I drove to their office, which was very small relative to the alleged size of the company. Red-flag number two, although at the time I was too excited to care.
The interview process was normal, and Lexi was quite friendly. No red-flags there.
What really sent it home is the investigative reports that have been published on this company. Though it seems they are now selling a different company's fragrances, I would be leery of anyone who has required their sales associates to SELL FAKE COLOGNE IN GAS STATION PARKING LOTS. To be fair, I do not know if this is still the case. Could be that they have turned a new leaf. However, I would personally rather work at Wal-Mart. At least they don't mislead you.
Do your research online, be sure to check out the FOX8 news investigative report, and keep digging past the first few pages of reviews. These guys slightly elusive at best, shady and downright liars at worst. I called them and told them I wouldn't show up to their second interview, and I would recommend everyone does the same.
