      Application

I interviewed at Proact (Glasgow, Scotland)

      Interview

The interview process went extremely smooth. After applying for the position above, i was contacted by an in-house recruiter whom explained that the job role was available. In this phone call, the recruiter explained all aspects of the job and what it entails. The recruiter then set up a phone interview appointment for when i was available and also emailed me all of the details of this. Throughout the interview process, I received emails to keep me updated and i really liked the fact that the recruiter explained that if i had any problems or worries then i could email at any time. this made me feel a little more at ease. The next stage was the telephone interview. The interviewer asked me several basic technical questions and explained in detail about the company. I was a little nervous with this but i feel it went smoothly. The interviewer was extremely nice. The face to face interview was with the team leader and manager. I was made to feel extremely comfortable from the very start and this really helped my nerves. I was asked some more technical questions. If i did know the answer then i explained this. At the end of the interview i was given a logical test.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Proact (Glasgow, Scotland) in Mar 2017

      Interview

Applied through Reed and was texted by a recruiter from Proact themselves called Sophie. She asked a few standard questions about right to work in UK etc., let me know the basics about the company and then sent my CV to the hiring manager. I got a call back the same day from Sophie to arrange an inital telephone interview, was sent an email with useful info in it about kind of questions they would ask and how to prepare. Telephone interview was a mix between general interview questions and some basic networking ones, lasted about half an hour. In a couple of days I got a call back from Sophie to let me know I was picked for a face-to-face interview, again was sent an email with info. Face-to-face interview was at their Glasgow office. It had two parts, the first was a kind of interactive session to let them know your own knowledge of cloud concepts and what the company does as a whole, then a small written test of attention to detail. I called Sophie back myself the next day and was told I'd been offered the job. Overall the interview experience was really simple and the recruiter was super helpful and friendly.
