      Senior Data Analyst Interview

      11 Jul 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Prospa

      Interview

I did 2 rounds of interview but they should have 3 rounds. The process is so long (2 months) and the HR kept letting me the changing ideas of the hiring manager. After the 2nd round interview, 22 June, HR called me to let me know the hiring manager wanted to hire 3 people together, rather than 1 and therefore need financial approval -- so let me wait (and said I am the preferred candidate) Then a follow up call to let me know it is still under process (5 July). Then after a week (11 July), the HR called me, saying they suddenly wanted to put the application on hold because they recruited too many people in the past months. Is the recruitment process a joke or lie? If you have so many people on board recently (HR / hiring manager should know this), why do you call me to say: we want financial approval to recruit 3 people at the same time? Obviously contradiction I won't consider a potential employer like Prospa because of no certainty.

Thank you for sharing your feedback around your experience. We have recently run a Senior Data Analyst process, and we have also identified some incredible talent (at varying levels) that we are eager to engage and consider for future opportunities within the team. As a scaling business we are always on the lookout for potential future talent and we look to make thoughtful and intentional decisions to ensure all of our new/ future Prosparians are set up for success. With this in mind, our team prides itself on providing a high level of transparency in our hiring process to all stakeholders involved in line with our value of being bold, open and real. We're sorry to hear that this hasn't necessarily translated in your experience, and we'd encourage you to connect with your Talent Acquisition contact to provide your constructive feedback. We'd welcome the feedback and an opportunity to provide clarity.
